What if a probe or detector is stored separately?
List it as a separate component and state whether it is included. Record the model or part number if accessible; do not imply compatibility solely because it was stored near the instrument.
Do utilities belong in the equipment list?
Mention the setup’s supporting requirements when known, but distinguish included equipment from building services. A shared gas supply or cooling loop is not automatically part of an offered instrument.
Should the equipment be disconnected before review?
An equipment enquiry does not require disconnection. Describe and photograph the existing setup where it can be done safely, and leave preparation and removal to the responsible qualified teams.
